As my daughter grows into a beautiful young lady, I pray that her heart will be as beautiful as the outward appearance that God has blessed her with. The only way for the internal to grow as beautiful is if it is tended to, like you would tend to a flower garden.
Therefore, it is important that I find just the right product for Ana so that as she grows up, she will also grow up more in the Lord.
The Plans I Have for You Devotional is just the perfect devotional for her. It is part “girlie” silliness, part hardcore Jesus, and a lot of “this is just for me”. It is short, yet to the point as she only has to read over one section of devotion, that has a good message and some follow up verses.
It is easy for her to read and understand, as well as the visual appeal is quick to draw her in. She has so far really enjoyed using this devotional, and I believe that she is making good strides in growing more in the Lord.
An important part of spending time in the Word of God is that you use the time to write out your Bible verses, your prayers, and your thoughts about the devotion or passage. Which is so wonderful because of The Plans I Have for You Journal is spot on for just this purpose.
The Journal allows Ana to write what she feels about the devotional that she read. But it also allows her to just be herself. There are prompts to help get the creative juices flowing, which sometimes helps you dig a little deeper.
