If you follow me on Facebook or any other type of social media, you know that I love coffee.
But recently I was asked to try and then review a tea product, Scripture Tea Prodcuts, Inc.
This product is a blessing in disguise. First, let me tell you how I found out about this wonderful product.
Since the name of my blog is Mama’s Coffee Shop, my Facebook fan page name is the same. Makes sense right? Okay, well I had this company post on the Facebook page offering to send me samples of tea even though I am a professed fan of coffee. Boy oh boy am I glad that I responded to the post on the page. I went over to check out their Facebook page and I was pleased to see what this product was about. I was quick to send a message to them and inquire about product samples.
Within a few minutes I was talking to Eileen Hadaway, the creator and owner of the company. What a delight she is! She is so very nice and sweet, you will really like her and what her company stands for!
In three days I was blessed with a giant box filled with goodies!
And the best part – I’m giving some of the goodies away to you! Just because I can….okay, well, Eileen said I could too!
Okay, so here is the skinny on this product. It is tea. (You caught that already, right?! lol) 30 years ago, Eileen Hadaway combined two timeless treasures, tea and the Word of God. Each tea bag that you pull out of the package has a Bible verse on the tea tag. Isn’t that ingenious?! I totally think so!
Here are a few I have had so far:
“Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire comes, it is a tree of life.” Proverbs 13:12 (New King James Version)
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” Matthew 5:4 (New King James Version)
Eileen was telling me that this awesome product is shipped all over the world and is sold in well over 600 Cracker Barrel stores! Isn’t that cool? She also shared that in so many places in the world, the Bible isn’t allowed to be brought into the country by the missionaries that are visiting. Tea bags on the other hand are allowed to be brought into the country, so this is the perfect way for the missionaries to share the Gospel anyway! A truly brilliant idea! Scripture Teas can also be found on The 700 Club, what a huge honor that must be.
Secondly, this tea is so wonderfully delicious! I love the blends that I was given to sample! Oh my….here are a few of the ones I got to try:
Apple Cobbler, Apricot, Winter Delight (Berry Medley), Pumpkin Spice, Blackberry Blend (Decaffeinated), and Raspberry Blend (Herbal Caffeine Free).
I have to tell ya…I seriously loved them all! These were perfect to have anytime of the day. I really loved the Blackberry Blend (decaffeinated) and Raspberry Blend (caffeine free) ones because I could have them late at night and not worry about being up super dooper late. I even stopped having coffee (wait…I did WHAT?!…totally did….) so I could test the strength of tea. Truthfully, I never felt any different due to lack of caffeine, so that is a major plus!
My children each tried the caffeine free tea and they all were so pleased that they continue to ask for some! I love that the children are willing to branch out and try new things…a pleasure to see them enjoying the taste of this tea. I enjoyed reading the Bible verses to the youngest son and I so loved hearing my daughter and oldest son reading theirs out loud. A blessing in disguise and it was so cool to see my children excited to find out what their tea tag said…awesome for sure!
These teas would be excellent gifts for birthdays, Christmas or just because. I have big plans for this product myself. I plan on stocking up and making sure I always have some on hand for when guest arrive. Also, I want to introduce the ladies at church to this perfectly wonderful way to sip a cup of tea and get a good word at the same time.
If you haven’t already, visit Eileen’s website, Scripture Tea Products, Inc and pick up a few boxes for yourself or as a gift. You can grab a box of the Apple Cobbler, for instance, for only $5.50 which has 20 tea bags in it. 20 different ways to spread the Good News. A perfectly brilliant idea (I said that already, didn’t I?) and well worth checking out.
I hope you enjoyed my latest review and take some time to visit Eileen and Scripture Tea!

The tea is lovely. I have been enjoying it so much! I like the Pumpkin Spice but the Winter Delight is my favorite. I have even shared these with our Ladies’ Bible Class at church and several ladies commented on how lovely they were. Thank you so much!

These sound lovely. What a neat idea to add scripture to something so comforting already. If chosen, I would like to try the Winter Delight and Pumpkin Spice. Thanks for offering this giveaway.

Scripture Tea is the most delicious tea! The encouraging scripture attached to each bag helps remind our cancer overcomer of the sweetness of God’s word. And yes, Eileen is an absolute delight and quite the prayer warrior too!
