Peter Ryan is a research assistant that recently lost his wife and daughter in a car accident, an accident he does not remember. Lately he is being plagued by dreams that feel incredibly real, so real in fact that he is becoming more and more sure that his wife and daughter are not dead as he has been led to believe.
Everything he knows seems to be unraveling before his eyes. How is it that three armed men invade his home yet he kills with little contemplation and amazing accuracy as if hand to hand combat is second nature to him? Why had handling a gun felt like an everyday occurrence when he has no actual knowledge of learning how to use one?
What reasoning could explain why Ryan is dreaming dreams that seem more like memories and why are there so many people trying to convince him otherwise.
Not everything is as it seems…
Find out why Ryan must make his way to Centralia and who is behind the locked door.
My Thoughts
I have never read a book by Mike Dellosso before and I am mighty impressed with this one.
If you are looking for a story of intrigue and suspense, dosed with a God-fearing, intelligent main character, than this is that story.
There are so many twists and turns in this story with an intricate well laid out plot. I was so taken by the level of intensity that I could not put the book down. I devoured this story in a relatively short amount of time and I am already chomping at the bit for the next one in the series..at least I hope there are more to come because it truly was a captivating story.
This author blends the saving power of God with the desperation of man neatly wrapped up inside a story of deception, betrayal, and intense intrigue incredibly well. Confused? Lacking faith? Need some intense drama? Mike Dellosso comes through in Centralia with all of these and so much more!
I throughly enjoyed this story and will be on the hunt for more by this author.
A wonderful book for the genre it is written in, well done!
I hope you enjoyed this book review and look forward to sharing what else I’ve been reading with you soon.
In His Grace.
