Abby Knightly has been through some pretty rough times in her life. As she makes her way to safe Wishing Springs, Texas she believes that this place might help her move on. Until she almost runs over a cow and its cowboy in the middle of the road. Life will never be the same again.
Bo Monahan is the epitome of everything cowboy; tall, dark, ruggedly handsome, and he plans of being single for a very long time. So when new comer Abby crashes into his life he isn’t quite sure about anything anymore. Life was running fairly smoothly, his business was good, taking care of his Pops wasn’t always full of bad days, so why not drop a baby into the midst of it all. His world is no longer settled and secure. He needs help…fast.
Abby and Bo need each otters more than they ever though was possible. Bo needs Abby to help with this new baby and Abby needs this man and child. Can this situation help heal old wounds or will it just create a bigger mess in the long run? With a lot of faith and even more heart, this duo may just end up a trio.
Once again I am slain by the beauty of the Wishing Springs, Texas community. I love the tight knit family, blood or not, that this town revolves around. The main characters are always so well written and the secondary characters give the story a much deeper rooted feeling.
I enjoyed her first book about the Four of Hearts Ranch and this one definitely did not disappoint. Abby had some deep heart issues that she had to overcome and the loving grace that she found in Wishing Springs should be found in every community. It was a joy to be a part of the healing process and I enjoyed every minute of the book.
I am looking forward to the third installment of this series because it will be as wonderful as the rest!
