I was recently blessed to review some incredibly amazing products from Koru Naturals. You will not believe how wonderful the Skin Clear Cream, Manuka Honey and Propolis Soap, Manuka Honey and Manuka Oil Facial Cleanser, and the Manuka Honey, Tamarid, and Manuka Oil Facial Toner worked! It is sooooo nice to use products with all natural ingredients on my skin.
The Products
Skin Clear Cream: It is a semi-thick slurry of ingredients that makes for an incredible cream. It smells much like the Manuka oil with a touch of honey. It glides on well and leaves your skin feeling refreshed. It comes in a 4oz jar that even has a spreading tool.
How it worked for me: At first I was hesitant to use it because it looked too thin. The first time I used it I used too much and it left my face feeling overly slimy and oily. But every time after I was more attentive and used a lesser amount and it is wonderfully and easily absorbed into my skin. I have seen some results in how my skin appears, it seems to have less blemishes than before. I am truly enjoying this skin clear cream.
Manuka Honey Propolis Soap: This bar of soap is quite divine. It is a blend of Manuka honey and propolis (a red or brown resinous substance
collected by honeybees from tree buds, used by them to fill crevices and to seal and varnish honeycombs). The result is a bar of soap that lasts a long time, smells lovely, suds well, and leaves you feeling clean but not overly, squeaky clean. It comes in an adorable 4.93oz package with a lovely and creative design.
How it worked for me: I do believe that this is now my favorite bar of soap! I am a huge fan of other bath wash products but this Manuka honey propolis soap is simply amazing. It leaves your skin feeling so soft and clean, without feeling like you are covered in chemicals. Also, the soap does not leave a slimy film on your skin, it even works well for a facial cleanser. I have used this bar of soap numerous times and it looks like it has hardly been used. That makes me happy, hopefully it will be around a long time!
Manuka Honey and Manuka Oil Facial Cleanser: This cleaner comes in a 4oz pump bottle. It has a slightly gritty texture and when applying to your face, use upward motions so that your skin elasticity will not be broken. It is suggested that you leave the cleanser on for 2 minutes as it deep cleans your skin. It only takes one – two good pumps for you to have enough to cover your face. It tingles slightly which implies it is working.
How it worked for me: Wow! This is a product that I never would have chosen for myself. But this time I did in the hopes that it would help correct my (old age) acne prone skin. At some point I would like to live without acne, so crossing my fingers I began to use the product. My first impression was that this must be doing something as the tingling was all over my face. Also, there was a cooling sensation that went along with it. And last, the slightly gritty texture felt like it was literally going into my pores and removing everything!
Manuka Honey, Tamarid, and Manuka Oil Facial Toner: This toner came to me in a 40z pump bottle. It contains tamarind which is a type of tree nut that has a plethora of uses. The toner is in liquid form, therefore it must be applied with a facial cleanser pad or cotton ball. It feels cool once applied to the skin and must be left to completely dry on your face. It has benefits that help clean acneic, oily, combination, and sensitive skins.
How it worked for me: This is an incredible product! I love how it makes my skin feel once it is applied. It leaves my skin feeling cool and I swear I can actually feel it tightening my skin too. I used this toner mostly on my face but since I was seeing some wonderful results, such as my skin was clearing up, I used it on some problem areas on my skin as well. This toner is well worth adding into a beauty regimen, I truly enjoyed this toner.
My Final Thoughts
I have never used any products from Koru Naturals before this review and I have to say, I with that I would have found this company sooner! I am in awe of the natural ingredients and how well every one of these products has worked for me!
I have enjoyed testing out the different products and have even asked my kids to test some of them too. My youngest son says that he, “loves how nice the soap smells” and that he would use it every bath time. By far the favorite product is the soap, so much so that I may need to stock up on more very soon!
This is a company that I would recommend to you if there are skin issues in your family. So far I have yet to have any reactions to any of the products but there is always the possibility with you and your family. We give all of these products 5 Stars!
