Less Stress with Christian Adult Coloring Books are Perfect for Gift Giving

It has been around a long time. At least for me it has. (Am I showing my age here?! Anyway . . .)

Coloring and Coloring Books. The ultimate form of stress relief and according to the internet, it isn’t just for kids anymore. Adult themed coloring books are popping up every where in the last couple of months. Especially coloring books aimed at women. They are laden with flowers, swirls, Bible verses, and more.

I have found for myself that taking even as little at 15 minutes a day to use my Christian themed coloring book does me a world of good. It helps me relax and tends to make me focus on the truly important things in my life.

A week or so ago I was visiting my go-to mega store and picked up one for myself. After I got home I grabbed some colored pencils that I love and settled down to color my heart out. Recently I noticed that you can even purchase some adorable Christian themed coloring books for women too.

I was delighted to see Beauty in the Bible: Adult Coloring Book for sale and it looks absolutely divine! (I’m thinking Christmas may come early for me!)

As I flipped through some of the images I found that there are words and/or phrases on some of the pictures. I find that coloring the letters is just as enjoyable as coloring the images. Once I found the Beauty in the Bible one I took some time to check out some other ones as well. There are so many different kinds of adult themed coloring books that I truly had a hard time deciding which ones I wanted to share with you.

That sounds like a lovely way to spend some time in quiet time with the Lord. Add in a box of Prismacolor colored pencils and it sounds to me that this would be a more stress relieving way to Bible study. With 70 pages in the Faith in Color coloring book there would be ample opportunity to spend some quiet time in reflection as well as adding some beauty in verse to your day.

This is such an incredibly beautiful coloring book. Even the outside draws me in with the stunning image of the flowers. I understand the need to sit and reflect upon God’s wonders, just by the creative expressions of this spectacular artist.
