Christmas Books to Share with Your Children
As the Christmas season begins here are a few of my favorite books to share with your children.
Each one is unique and a beautiful story of the best gift of this season.
My first is the countdown of Advent with Ann Voskamp in Unwrapping the Greatest Gift.
My second favorite is a new book that I reviewed not so long ago that has now become a family favorite.
The Biggest Story: How the Snake Crusher Brings us Back to the Garden by Kevin DeYoung. This is a beautiful book that teaches us the most important story.
It is never too late to begin to read one of these incredible books with your children. The Christmas and Advent season is a wonderful time to dig deeper into the reason for the season but any time is a great time to learn about what God did for us by sending Jesus.

my favorite holiday memory is going over to my grandmothers house on christmas eve. i have been doing it since I was born and now I get to do it with my kids and husband. Such special memories made every year. Last year my grandmother got all of her old slides and converted them to dvd so we all sat around and watched them for hours. It may have been the best christmas yet!

My favorite Christmas memory is the last Christmas my grandma was alive. Even though she only lived a few miles away and was very sick (she was dying of breast cancer), she came to our house on Christmas Eve and spent the night because she wanted to be there with us on Christmas morning. It was a very sweet and special time and a memory I will never forget.
