Dear Daughters – My Review
Dear Daughters was a lovely book to review. This book is the type of book that you buy a new mom, or your sister, or your newly married friend. Why? Becuase there is so much amazingly good Biblical encoragement inside.
The book is not only eye appealing but the texture of the cover is reiminiscent of books from way back when. It is pleasing to hold and feel in your hands. (Cheesy? Maybe, lol, but truth nonetheless.) The floral motif leands to a feminine air and just makes the book more “girly” and delicate.
Dear Daughter offers a deeper look into how we can truly understadn God’s will for our lives as well as encourages us to look deeper into finding God in our daily (drudge, let’s say) of life. With Susie’s help we can learn to find the peace we want as well as the peace we need along with the contentment that only God can offer to us.
For me, this book also shows me why I need more seasoned ladies in my life. I know that I should utilize more “Titus 2” women but this book helps me understand why they are so very important for me, as well as my daughter.
I loved how the book was for reading but there were sections at the end of every chapter for me to jot down my own notes or Bible verses I was led to follow up on. This feature allows for the book to become much more personal for the recipient. Therefore, a precious gift for a precious lady.
I enjoyed reading this book and I am so glad I was able to share it with you.
