‘Tis the season for all things Christmas! Don’t you agree?
Since the days are much colder than I would like, (yes even here in Alabama it gets cold) this seemed like the perfect time to put together these adorable and super easy twine wrapped candy canes.
Aren’t these so stinking’ cute? And if you know me, ultimately this is another easy DIY craft that everyone can do. An adorable way to spruce up the house and the tree this holiday season!
These twine wrapped candy canes make perfect homemade gifts too – in case you haven’t gotten the extended family their gifts quite yet. *wink wink*
What’s Needed
Directions
1. Put some hot glue on the end of one of the candy canes. Start the twine by laying the end on the glue. Start wrapping it around making sure to cover the candy cane completely.
2. Once you get to the turn, put another dot of glue to help keep the twine in place and keep going.
3. When you get to the end of it, put another dot of glue and wrap it tightly around the tip.
4. Glue a piece of evergreen to each candy cane about halfway down.
5. Glue a red bow or some bells onto each piece of evergreen.
6. Easy and pretty tree ornament!
And just like that, you have the cutest sweetest most adorable Christmas decorations for a fraction of what you would pay in the store for similar ones.
Which is exactly WHY I made them myself. A little work, some time, and the end result is precious.
Be gentle as you work otherwise you will have lots of candy to eat with no new decorations. LOL
I hope you enjoy this fun craft and that you have an abundantly blessed Christmas!
In His Grace,
Callie
