Anxiety, which is a form of fear, can be contributing factor to feeling that our life is out of control! That is one of the strongest weapons that the enemy (Satan) uses against us. He creates strongholds (a fortified structure, like a fort) in our minds making us feel like we are not in control of our lives, nor is God. When we allow this fear, presenting as anxiety, to consume our thoughts, it blinds us that God is truly in control.
When you open up your Bible you will see scripture showing us time and time again, that God is in control and is continuously working in our lives. God is faithful, He never leaves us, even when we feel alone. That is TRUTH. The stronger you become in your faith, by reading the word, the less you will be affected by fear. When a thought pops up in your mind, you will remember the scripture, and can speak that truth over your life, because we know that there is “life and death is in the power of the tongue” (Proverbs 18:21).
God is in control, and when we read the bible, and read the truth, our faith will grow stronger, and we can conquer anything with His help!
Below I gathered a list of scriptures showing us, that God is in control in our life at ALL times. He has it all mapped out, so we need to hand the wheel over to him, and take the passenger seat and just trust Him.
