Seriously some delicious treats that are soooo easy to make and take NO TIME at all to prepare and bake!
4 Bite Apple Pie
Three ingredients and a little bit of time make this treat quick and easy.
I am in some hard core LOVE with this treat! I love apple pie and cinnamon and this is so perfect for Fall, oh, phooey, ANYTIME works for these!
I saw this photo on Pinterest a few weeks back and without even reading the recipe (which isn’t even made with apple pie filling!), I just knew that this was something I could make and I also knew, that my family was going to be in love with them!
So, in a quick stop at the store I grabbed some Pillsbury Crescent Rolls-Butter Flake. Each package has a total of 8 rolls.
Here are your Super Easy Ingredients
2 cans of Pillsbury Crescent Rolls (I used the Butter Flake ones)
1 15 oz. Can of Apple Pie Filling
*cinnamon sugar (mine is pre made)
Directions
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F and get a cookie sheet ready for use.
The apples from the apple pie filling are way to big, so once you have emptied the can into a bowl, you will need to take a knife and fork to the apples to cut them into smaller pieces.
Open the Crescent Rolls and unroll them.
(I used a cutting board) Separate the rolls as indicated, but Do Not separate diagonally, just lengthwise.
Using a paring knife I cut the unrolled dough into square sections.
Add a dollop of your cut apple pie filling to your squared section of dough. Fold over the dough to enclose the apple pie filling.
Use a fork to crimp the edges together.
Sprinkle each filled dough bite with your cinnamon sugar blend.
Lay your finished dough bites to your cookie sheet
Bake at 375 degrees F for 10-12 minutes until fluffy and a golden brown.
Serve hot or cooled, they are fantastic either way!
*cinnamon sugar blend – 1 tablespoon of white granulated sugar and 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon spice, blend well.
