Rest (peace)
1 Kings 5:4 – But now the Lord my God has given me rest on every side, so that there is neither adversary nor evil occurrent.
Matthew 11:29 – Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
I yearn to rest in the Lord just as my little son was comfortable to rest in my arms.
Peace;Rest – Both only found in our Savior.
I am thankful that He offers these both to me, without fail. Even when I fail Him daily.
He does not run and hide when I have angered Him.
He does not turn from me when I miss my time with Him.
He does not say hurtful and mean things to me when I neglect Him.
He sees pass my sin and still offers His deep soul rest.
