One of our favorite family traditions is to distribute gifts at a nearby shelter, but we need some extra funds to do it.

No food goes to waste in the wild. We take pumpkin rinds and other non edible Holiday meal scraps to the edge of twon and throw them out down near the river- a good distance away from any homes.

When I was tiny, I used to stuff my boots with hay for Santa’s reindeer, I’m sure that looked cute.

One of my favorite traditions is after we eat, we play board games with the entire family. We play monopoly, pictionary, Uno,and many others. It is so much fun, and I love spending the time with my extended family.

One family tradition is I make homemade money bread for Christmas morning breakfast with coffee! I only make it once a year (it’s a lot of work as I make the bread for this) so we all look forward to it!

Probably a tie! We “build” a Jesse Tree, celebrate the Festival of Lights (aka Hanukkah), and bake together (lots of Christmas treats!).
